A total of 155 rooms are decorated in contemporary style and have been designed to maintain complete privacy. Premium Garden Rooms are located on the ground floor and have an outdoor terrace overlooking the beautiful tropical gardens

Melia Terrace Rooms (Size: 59m2)
Standard spacious rooms with partial views of the magnificent Indian ocean situated on the first floor with an exclusive private balcony. Enjoy the outdoor tropical shower. Connecting rooms are available on request in this room category.

Premium Terrace Rooms (Size: 50m2)
The Premium Terrace Rooms have a spacious bedroom, a dressing room and a modern bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower. They are located on the upper level and have access to a balcony. Premium Terrace Interconnected rooms are available in this category – the 2 rooms are separated by a small lobby.

5 Family Rooms (Size: 117m2)
Room ideal for families with two children, consisting of a bedroom separate from a very large lounge with a seating area and dining table, located on the first floor with garden view and some partial views of the magnificent Indian Ocean.

13 Ocean View Bungalows (Size: 65m2)
Single storey bungalows located on the cliff top with spectacular views.

The Level Beach Room offers the resort’s exclusive The Level service, frontal views over the sea and a splendid queen-sized bed that provides greater comfort. The ideal accommodation for enjoying all the pleasures offered by Zanzibar. Maximum occupancy of this room is 2 adults.

7 The Level Ocean Front Romance Pavilions (Size: 45m2)
The cliffside location of these Adults Only rooms provides awesome and inspiring views of the Indian Ocean. A magical space with a large bathtub and huge king-size bed. For travellers seeking a romantic experience, this room is the perfect retreat.

17 The Level Beach Pavilions (Size: 100m2)
New stylish ocean facing pavilions are strategically elevated in the palm trees and offering magnificent views over Gabi Beach. Beach Pavilions accommodate 2 adults only.

The Level 1 Bedroom Garden Villas (Size: 400m2)
The best option for guests seeking a romantic getaway or an unforgettable honeymoon. The villa has a spacious bedroom, kitchen, separate lounge and a private infinity pool with a deck. 

The Level 1 Bedroom Ocean Villas (Size: 350m2)

One of the elevated bungalow-style rooms set amongst the palm trees, the 2 bedroom Pavilion offers a huge living space with an additional 129m2 of terrace to take in the beautiful sea views Zanzibar has to offer. The Level Ocean View 2 Bedroom Ocean Villa (Size: 544m2)

Spice Market
Modelled after the traditional spice market found in Stone Town, the restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience that features an international mixture of cuisines with a distinct Arabian and African influence in buffet style. The restaurant spills out on to a beautiful terrace sheltered by island trees that allows for “al fresco” dining and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Tamu Restaurant
Melia’s  a la carte restaurant, Tamu, provides guests with the opportunity to experience exquisite and exclusive Swahili fine dining fusion menus with magnificent views of the Indian Ocean.

Pool Bar & Restaurant
Pool Bar & Restaurant is located alongside the main infinity pool and is a perfect venue for light meals, sandwiches and snacks.

Gabi Beach Club
The restaurant and bar is tucked under the palm trees. An informal atmosphere with chill out music, bar, a light grill menu, seafood, salads and a wood fire pizza oven.

Jetty Lounge
One of the landmarks at the Melia Zanzibar is the beautiful Jetty that transports you out into the Indian Ocean. At the end of your walk discover the Jetty Bar and Restaurant ready to welcome you for pre and after dinner drinks and snacks.

The Library Bar
The Library Bar is close to the Lobby, with air conditioned and perfect for pre and after dinner drinks, or just reading your newspaper in a quiet atmosphere comfortably seated on one of the sofas. As well different kind of cigars can be available (at a supplement).

Comfortable sun loungers draped in soft towels are arranged under the palm trees to allow you to enjoy your “own piece of paradise”. Beach volleyball, canoeing, and life jackets are available for guest use at the beach club.
